Use this for any roll the dice buttons don't cover. You can type it in, or tap it together using the buttons.
Typing a roll
Type your roll into the box, then press Roll or Enter. Here are some examples to get you started:
3d6 rolls three six-sided dice
1d20+5 rolls a d20 and adds 5 to the total
2d8 + 1d6 + 3 lets you mix different dice and bonuses in one roll
1d20+7 adv rolls with advantage. Use dis for disadvantage
4d6-1 each applies the modifier to every die, not just the total
1d7 works too. You can use any die from d2 up to d1000
Spaces don't matter, so 2d8+1d6+3 works just as well as 2d8 + 1d6 + 3.
You can include up to 100 dice per roll.
When you type a roll, you get exactly what you typed. The Advantage, Disadvantage and modifier buttons at the top won't change it.
Building a roll with the buttons
Press Build, then tap the dice you want. Instead of rolling straight away, each tap adds that die to the box. If you've selected Advantage, Disadvantage or a modifier at the top, it's added along with the die.
You can mix tapping and typing while you build. When you're happy with it, press Roll.
Saving a roll
Press Save ☆ to keep a roll for later. You can give it a name, like “Longsword” or “Fireball”, or leave it as it is.
You can also save any roll you've already made by pressing the ☆ next to it in the results or in Roll History.
Your saved rolls appear under the dice, and you can keep up to 12 of them.
To rename, change or delete a saved roll, press Edit next to your saved rolls, then tap the roll you want to change, or press × to delete it.
